Why i like living in La Costa del Sol
One of the areas with a very high quality of life in the province of Malaga is La Costa del Sol, in southern Spain. It provides a relaxed way of life and is the place where more and more Americans expats and tourists end up staying to enjoy life on the shores of the Mediterranean. I came to live in Malaga a few years ago and I am totally in love with the area, the climate, the low cost of living, its delicious cuisine, and the people who live here.
La Costa del Sol has more than three thousand hours of sunshine, so here you will find the eternal summer with wonderful golf courses.
Living in Spain is a real luxury.
The gastronomy and the healthy Mediterranean cuisine, the medical system, high quality international schools, the low crime rate and excellent connectivity and accessibility, make La Costa del Sol the ideal place to live in peace, providing a healthy and balanced lifestyle. La Costa del Sol offers a diversity of landscapes and natural environments, both beaches and mountains and, of course, accompanied by numerous sports activities to do. One of the things I like most about Spain is the great hospitality of its citizens. They are very friendly, pleasant and will help you in everything you need.
About cultural and technological reference.
The city of Malaga, just 10 minutes from the international airport, is a center of attraction for technological investments, building bridges with Silicon Valley and strengthening the arrival of large companies such as Google. The growth of Malaga in the last ten years has been impressive, positioning itself as a cultural reference recognized worldwide thanks to its museum ecosystem. Personally, I really like to go to concerts, plays, film and music festivals, as well as to numerous museums of modern and contemporary art, such as the Pompidou Center, one of the great attractions of the center located in Muelle Uno, on the seashore and the seaport.
Malaga is one of the 10 cities in the European Union with the highest level of satisfaction among our habitants for its excellent quality of life. And it does not surprise me at all because it also enjoys excellent connections if you want to know other beautiful cities of Andalusia Region, such as Seville (in 2 hours), Granada, Cádiz, Córdoba or Almeria just 90 minutes away. One of my passions is traveling, so I highly recommend you to visit these nearby provinces and discover the imposing Alhambra in Granada, the incredible Alcazar of Seville and La Torre del Sol, the great mosque of Cordoba or the stunning beaches of Cádiz and Almería. If winter season sports interests you, there are not problems, because Sierra Nevada is only one hour from Malaga.
I have no doubt, you will fall in love with Andalusia in the blink of an eye.
My advice if you are thinking of buying a property in Málaga.
First of all, let me tell you that is very important to find someone to trust who also understands the needs that exist in your country of origin and can assist you to adopt to a new life in southern Spain. The language, the lifestyle, knowing the culture of both countries, as well as the legal procedures to make the whole transition is something to take into account when choosing a good Real Estate investment advisor. The important thing is to trust who knows. If you are an investor, looking for your first home or simply expanding because the family grows or you need a second summer or winter home, or a new home for your retirement, La Costa del Sol is one of the best bets places you can choose right now.
